The Parish of Ballinakill in North West Connemara, like most parishes in rural Ireland has experienced many changes over the past 50 years. However, unlike many other parishes, Ballinakill has succeeded through active community involvement in influencing many of the changes that have occurred. A Patchwork of Dreams is a compliation of articles and photographs which will hopefully, provide the signposts to direct the reader from 1957 to 2007.
