Tigh na nÓg Creche

Tigh na nÓg provides full day-care, pre-school and after-school services to children from the North Connemara area throughout the year. Opened in 2008, it now provides a childcare solution for more than 50 families from the local community.

It follows the Aistear/Siolta Curriculum, Early Childhood Curriculum Framework,l guidelines for good practice. Tigh na nÓg is committed to providing a service for the best interests of every child in its care, through the provision of a homely, informal, nurturing and stimulating atmosphere.

It provides a service where the social, physical, emotional and intellectual development of each child is paramount and the children’s rights, cultures and difference are respected. All of its staff are fully qualified and attend regular training.

The facility offers ECCE (Free Pre-School Year), CCS (Reduced rates for those receiving Social Welfare Payments) and NCS (National Childcare Scheme).
