Super day with the 5th and 6th classes of Eagles Nest, Tully, Lettergesh and Letterfrack National Schools who visited the Connemara West Centre on the 17 June 2025 and much thanks to Youthreach Letterfrack who showed the children how to make keyrings and ice cakes; Ryan and Charmaine (Flaherty) in Diamond Hill Community Centre who put the children through their paces; Caroline (Heanue) and Patricia (Glynn) in Tigh na Nog Community Creche where the children planted flowers and herbs and to Connemara Community Radio where the children tried their hand at programme making with Grainne (O’Malley). Special thanks to Sam (Flaherty), ATU Connemara for the lovely gifts and showing them around this year’s spectacular and of year show and also a big thank you to Sven (Habermann) in Conservation Letterfrack for all talk and last but never least much appreciation to Tony and the staff in the Wild Goat Cafe for lunch. A great bunch of children and we hope they enjoyed their visit.
